Mine Technical Services Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Service Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Leadership: Lead by example and champion safety on-site by enhancing practices through effective communication.
• Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Direct the planning, budgeting, and execution of field operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Operational Oversight: Manage all on-site activities, act as the main operations resource, and oversee water management, remote monitoring, and technical operations with advanced technologies.
• Technical Expertise: Possess a solid understanding or quick learning ability in geochemistry, water treatment systems, and other technical aspects crucial to mining operations.
• Regulatory Compliance & Permitting: Participate in regulatory processes, guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, and assist in water rights management.
• Continuous Improvement: Refine site processes and technologies, and propel operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in regulatory and stakeholder relations, particularly when the Director is unavailable.

Candidate Profile:

• Strong leadership skills in planning, budgeting, and operational management, ideally within the mining or a related sector.
• High technical acumen, particularly in operational technologies, geochemistry, and/or water treatment systems.
• Knowledgeable in federal, state, and local permitting processes with a dedication to compliance and environmental stewardship.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of collaborating with a broad spectrum of stakeholders from technical specialists to government entities.
• A deep commitment to safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.
