What You'll Do:

• Lead mining-focused geochemical projects, ensuring scientific rigor, environmental compliance, and operational effectiveness.
• Develop and oversee field investigations, geochemical characterization, and predictive modeling for mining operations.
• Analyze complex geological and geochemical data to optimize mine planning, waste management, and water quality control.
• Generate conceptual and numerical models focused on acid rock drainage, metal leaching, and contaminant transport.
• Collaborate directly with mining industry clients, regulatory bodies, and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Produce high-quality technical reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Mentor and develop a talented team of geochemists, shaping future industry leaders.

What You Bring:

• 15+ years of specialized geochemistry experience within the mining industry.
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in geochemistry, geology, mining engineering, or related fields.
• Professional registration (P.G., P.E., or equivalent) highly desirable.
• Proven expertise in mining geochemistry, including acid rock drainage, water quality prediction, and geochemical modeling.
• Strong leadership skills, with a proactive approach to mentoring, team building, and project execution.
• Demonstrated capability in client engagement, business development, and regulatory collaboration.
