Vice President of Exploration

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to drive the discovery of world-class mineral deposits, with a focus on copper, silver, and gold. You will work closely with a well-established senior leadership team, leveraging your expertise in generative exploration to evaluate land packages, develop strategic priorities, and mentor a growing team of geologists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute generative exploration programs in diverse terrains across the Southwestern U.S.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize land acquisition opportunities and exploration targets.
• Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and geophysical interpretation to advance projects.
• Oversee exploration budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Lead and mentor a team of geologists, fostering professional development and collaboration.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align exploration efforts with company objectives.
• Communicate exploration results effectively to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in mineral exploration, with a focus on copper, silver, and gold in the Southwestern U.S.
• Strong track record in generative exploration and deposit discovery.
• Proficiency in geological software (e.g., Leapfrog, ArcGIS) and data integration techniques.
• A strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to evolving priorities and challenges.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and team building.
