Are you a visionary leader ready to guide our client's journey as they transition from a Canadian to a US listing? Our client, a dynamic player in the energy and mining sector, is seeking a Director of Investor Relations and Communications to craft and execute strategies that captivate investors and communicate their corporate vision effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Investor Relations Strategy: Develop and implement an investor relations strategy that aligns with the company's financial goals, particularly as they shift to a US listing.
• Strategic Communications Oversight: Manage the company's overall communications strategy with a focus on aligning investor messaging with corporate objectives.
• Engage with Investors: Build and maintain relationships with high-level investors, analysts, and stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling communication.
• Oversee SEC Filings: Manage the preparation and dissemination of all investor-related communications, including SEC filings, proxy statements, and shareholder reports.
• Media and Public Relations Management: Oversee media interactions, ensuring executives are well-prepared for public engagements and interviews.

Potential Projects:

• US Listing Transition: Lead communications and investor relations efforts as the company shifts its listing to a US exchange.
• Investor Roadshows: Develop and manage investor roadshows, presentations, and conferences to attract and retain key investors.
• Crisis Communications: Design and implement crisis communication strategies to protect the company’s reputation.
• Strategic Communications Plan: Create a comprehensive communications plan that aligns with the company’s long-term objectives.

Qualifications:

• Investor Relations Expertise: 10+ years in investor relations, preferably within the energy or mining sector.
• US Citizenship: Required due to the nature of the US listing and investor engagement.
• Strong Communication Skills: Proven ability to craft and convey messages that resonate with both financial professionals and the broader public.
• Educational Background: Degree in finance, communications, or a related field.
