Our client, a leading figure in the clean energy sector, is actively seeking an experienced Director of Communications to join their dynamic team in Dallas, TX. As America’s only uranium producer with multiple operational facilities, our client is dedicated to delivering clean, reliable fuel for nuclear energy. They operate exclusively through advanced In-Situ Recovery (ISR) technology, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the forefront of sustainable energy.
This pivotal role will report directly to the Executive Chairman, leading all facets of corporate communications, media relations, and investor engagement. With a strong C-level mindset, the Director of Communications will shape strategic messaging that enhances investor awareness and media presence, embodying our client's mission to drive forward the nuclear energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Communications: Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate communication strategy targeting external audiences and stakeholders.
- Media & Investor Relations: Lead all media outreach, crafting key corporate narratives to effectively communicate our client's value proposition.
- Content Development: Draft and edit a variety of high-impact written materials, including Q&A documents, press releases, investor presentations, and annual reports.
- Corporate Storytelling: Cultivate compelling narratives that elevate the company's brand and resonate with investors, media, and the broader energy community.
- Event Management: Organize and support investor conferences, quarterly earnings calls, and other key events, serving as the primary point of contact for external communications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop shareholder targeting strategies and analytics to enhance engagement with current and prospective investors.
- Executive Support: Prepare executive leadership for earnings releases and public appearances, including scripting and Q&A preparations.
Potential Projects
- Craft the company's annual report and sustainability report to highlight milestones and future ambitions.
- Develop innovative communication materials, such as corporate decks and website content, that illustrate our client's industry leadership.
- Design and execute outreach strategies for investor conferences and other high-visibility events.
- Create a media monitoring system to provide timely insights on public perception and areas of potential impact.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 15 years in corporate communications, including 5+ years in a leadership role within a U.S. listed public company. Experience in uranium, oil, gas, or extractive industries is a strong advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business administration, communications, or a related field; a graduate degree is preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including investors and industry analysts.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with SEC disclosure regulations and experience in preparing quarterly earnings presentations, press releases, and executive-level scripts.
- Network: A well-developed network of investor contacts is highly desirable.
Travel is a requirement of this position, as the Director will represent our client at various industry events and investor meetings.
