Summary:

The Director of HR stands at the forefront of our Clients organization's growth. This role is a strategic contributor, pivotal in sculpting the future of the company. While managing and executing core human resources operations, the HR Manager is also entrusted with the responsibility of leading the organization's people/HR growth strategy. This involves steering change management, mentoring upcoming HR talents, and fostering a culture that supports our ever-evolving business dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Act as a strategic partner to senior management, contributing to the company's broader business goals and strategy.
  • Lead and define the organization's HR growth strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to conducting interviews and finalizing offers.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive first impression.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee concerns and manage conflict resolution.
  • Facilitate and guide departmental managers in handling personnel matters.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and discrimination-free workplace.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Manage and oversee the company's benefits programs.
  • Conduct regular market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits.

Training, Development, and Mentorship:

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs.
  • Organize training sessions, workshops, and other educational initiatives.
  • Actively mentor and coach budding HR professionals within the organization.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and oversee performance review processes.
  • Provide guidance on career progression and professional development.

Change Management:

  • Drive change initiatives from an organizational perspective, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of growth and transformation.
  • Communicate and manage change effectively to minimize resistance and enhance company evolution.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and industry trends.
  • Prepare and submit HR metrics and reports as necessary.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation and databases.
  • Manage HR-related budgets and ensure cost-effective practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR) are a plus.
  • Minimum of [15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proficient with HRIS and office software like MS Office. Experience with HRIS systems  (Success Factors) is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and change management principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and mentorship skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and tact.
